“SALT is a nomadic art project currently located on Oslo’s waterfront, overlooking the city’s famous opera house. Spanning an area of 5,000 square meters, SALT consists of several spectacular wooden structures designed by Sami Rintala (Rintala Eggertsson Architects).” – http://salted.no/
SALT is such a spectacular and unique place! If you love the heat, this is the perfect spot for you. It features one of the world’s largest saunas, which can accommodate up to 100 people, as well as barrel saunas that reach a steamy 120°C. During the summer season, food, drinks, and concerts are also available.
Our first installation of 2018 was this behemoth—a custom-made CHINO stretch tent spanning a full 548 square meters. It is our largest installation to date and also our first in Norway. The tent was positioned between two of the triangular wooden structures. Thanks to precise measurements, the stretch tent fit perfectly into the space and provided optimal protection between the structures.
With this stretch tent extending our time outdoors, we’re convinced that this summer’s concerts and celebrations at SALT are already in full swing!
