A zen garden and a royal visit

Halmstad city has been buzzing this past weekend! With multiple events taking place in and around the city the “Halmstad Art Of Living” Festival took centre stage.

Nordic Stretch Tents partnered with Norre Katts Park and Halmstad Castle to create a little bit of magic in our hometown. Norre Katts Park transformed into a training mecca with a secret zen garden while the castle gardens were opened up to the public.

At the castle, guests could grab a fika from Chalenius Fredins and Krantzbord and make themselves comfortable in one of our glamping tents that we had set up around the lush, green garden allowing guests the chance to witness views of Halmstad that they may have never seen before up until now.

In Norre Katts Park festival visitors had the possibility to experience a range of different training classes under our 7,5 x 15M light grey stretch tent. Our stretch tent sail provided cover for public attending talks up on the hill at the Rotunda. Then, as you made your way to the pond, across the quaint white bridge you were welcomed with a sign that read, “Somewhere beyond right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there” – Rumi”. Hidden under lthe shade of the trees you walked along a gravel park that led to two glamping tents. One of the tents was furnished with floor cushions, mats, throws as the smell of insense wafted through the tent. A place where you could get away from the festival’s hustle and bustle and just be. The other glamping tent invited the public to to take part in a range of free classes from meditation to yoga. An incredible place that created such a calm and sacred space.

“Halmstad Art Of Living” has given Halmstad city new life. We hope to see this festival again next year as it evolves and develops a permanent space on the city’s annual event calendar!
